Side-mounted inductors in various diameters.
Circular side-mounted inductors are used to heat nuts, couplings, gaskets, hinges, exhaust pipes, screws, and other applications where the inductor can be freely slid onto the heated part.
Select the diameter so that there is a gap of approx. 2 mm between the heated part and the threads of the inductor. This prevents excessive wear and burning of the insulation by the heated material.
