Direct slip-on circular front inductors are used to heat nuts, couplings, gaskets, hinges, exhaust pipes, bolts, and other applications where the coil can be freely slid onto the heated part.

Select the diameter so that there is a gap of approx. 2 mm between the heated part and the threads of the inductor. This prevents excessive wear and burning of the insulation by the heated material.
