The ceramic element is ideally suited for preheating and subsequent post-heating during heat treatment of products, repairs of castings, welds of thick-walled pipes, longitudinal welds, etc.
Flexible ceramic elements are manufactured from high quality nickel-chromium (NiCr) 80/20 19 braided wire and insulated with sintered alumina balls, providing flexibility and increased heat transfer capability.
The element has a working temperature capability of up to 1050 °C.
The elements can be used on both flat and curved surfaces and are available in a wide range of sizes – see table below.
Supplied with DINSE connectors as standard.
